1.  to guest house from Schiphol airport:

Take Train (check right platform and right direction by reading from info board) and with one stop at station of “Amsterdam Lelylaan” , it will take 5-7 minutes! 

If you do not have a lot of luggage, you can walk from Lelylaan to guest house, for 15 min walking

Or take Metro 50 or 51, for one stop, stop at “Postjesweg”, then walk for 8 mins to guest house.

Vice versa (from guest house to Schiphol airport)

The route is exactly the same, just reversed.

2. to guest house from Central Station:

you can use metro, tram, bus and train. Due to construction work to bus/tram, we now recommend you to use bus 18 or metro 51 as your first option to avoid long walking.

From Central Station:

Way 1:

Normally, take Metro 51 and Stop at "Postjesweg", about 14 stops (25 min)

after that, Walk (10min) to guest house for 600m

Way 2:

Tram is in front of train station.

Take Tram 17 and Stop at "Postjesweg"(15-20 min)

walk (16 min) to guest house for about 1km

Way 3:

Take bus # 18 (Bus station CS IJzijde, Amsterdam,Platform K), and stop at "Derkinderenstraat (Postjesweg)", (Estimated about 20 min) , walk (2 mins) to guest house for about 300m

Way 4:

Take train and stop "Amsterdam Lelylaan", walk (16 min) to guest house for 1.3km

Vice versa (from guest house to Central station)

The route is exactly the same, just reversed.

3. to guest house from Amsterdam RAI: 

Take metro 50 or 51 (direction: Isolatorweg) from Station RAI.

Typically takes about 12–13 minutes, covering 5 stops. Get off at Postjesweg station.

Then walk for 6 minutes from Postjesweg station to the guest house.

Vice versa (from guest house to Amsterdam RAI)

The route is exactly the same, just reversed.

Take metro 50 or 51 from Postjesweg station, and get off directly at Station RAI.

4. to guest house from sloterdijk station:

after you arrive sloterdijk bus station, go to the main hall of sloterdijk station and find metro sign "M" to take metro

1. take metro 50/51 from "sloterdijk" metro station, with 3 stops get off at "Postjesweg" station

2. walk for 8 mins to our guest house.

Vice versa (from guest house to Sloterdijk Station)

The route is exactly the same, just reversed.

Check-in process： 

1. Please communicate at least 24 hours in advance to the host (Holly) or co-host by airbnb APP with your arrival time. Our check-in window is from 2pm to 9pm. We always meet guest in person to do the check-in.

2. Late check-in after 9PM, waill be extra service cost of 5 euro per hour; after 11PM, check-in is not possible, you need to come tomorrow morning.

3. To drop your luggage before check-in opens (before 2pm) is ONLY possible that you communicate to us 24 hours before your arrival time and the host or co-host agrees that you can come earlier. Otherwise, there is no guarantee that someone is at home when you come earlier.

4. Early check-in is ONLY possible that you communicate to us 24 hours before your arrival time and the host or co-host agrees that you can come earlier if your room can be ready earlier.

5. Please respect our check-in process, and do not show up unexpectedly.

Once you arrive at guest house, please open front garden fence door and press the doorbell. (please do not send message to tell your arrival as the host can not check your message instantly), Just RING DOORBELL!

The check-in will be done personally with the host and start with ID/passport control (it is required by Amsterdam Municipality to do identity control for all guests) , followed by instructions explanation and handover keys.

Self check-out process:

Return keys： Please leave your key on the desk of your room, do not leave elsewhere;

Gather used towels: the used towels, please leave it in your own room, please do not leave in bathroom;

Leave the rubbish in the rubbish bin, if it is full, you can put rubbish in a bag besides the rubbish bin. it is easy for us to clean;

please turn off all lights when you check out;

Lock up： 1)keep your bedroom's door open so the host can see you leave; 2) make sure the main entrance door locked on your way out;

Additional requests: Please do self-check out, the host never checks the room.

Just make sure you bring your own belongings.

If you need to leave your luggage with the host after check out,

please communicate your check-out time at least one day earlier to the host, so host will be home for you to take in your luggage

-House Manual-

We expect our guests to be respectful of each other, to smoke outside, and to make as little noise as possible; Leave the guest rooms, the common and public areas (the kitchen, bathroom and toilets) as they find it.  

Check in: between 14:00 (2:00 PM) and 21:00 (9pm);   

Check out: before 11:00 A.M.

You can leave your luggage with the host if you arrive earlier than check-in time (2pm), but please communicate with the host one day earlier. Check-in time can be earlier without  any fees if the guest before you leave early.

Late check-in after 9pm is possible with 5 euro per hour waiting time due to out-of-working hours.

Do Self-check-out, Late check-out (later than 11:00am) will be a penalty of 10 euro per hour.

1. On the day of check-in, the host will check your identification, which is required by Amsterdam municipality, and write down your full name if needed.

2. Please be clean and tidy. Do not leave personal belongings in public areas. The bathroom must be kept clean and tidy after use, be aware that there are other guests.

3. Change to Guest Slipper once home. Turn off lights, electrical appliances and heater that are not being used and not leave tap water running.

4. The lost front door key will have a penalty of 200 euro and the bedroom key for a penalty of 20 euro

5. Quiet hours are between 10PM and 7AM. There is NO lock-out time. Please be quiet between 10PM and 7AM (Be aware that other guests could be sleeping); Due to noises from the boiler, try not to take a shower between 10pm and 7am to avoid waking up other guests, but you can use other facilities during quiet hours.

6. You can NOT bring people who are not guests to the house without the permission of the host.

7. It is difficult to meet guests’ requirements for breakfast, there is NO breakfast offered.

8.  The washing machine can be used between 8AM and 8PM for 5 euro per load (The detergent and fibric softener are included). 

9. The guests must clean the kitchen, bathroom and toilet after their usage.

10. If you want to print or copy something, please check with the host: 1 euro per page; if we do not have a printer at the moment, you can always use OBA (Public library near the metro station-Postjesweg)

11. If you want your room cleaned during your stay, please let the host know. The host will communicate to you the cleaning time period, 10 euro per one-time clean.  It’s free to have towels to change during your stay.

12. There will be a kettle/microwave/fridge, instant coffee/tea and some snacks provided in the kitchen.  You can help yourself with unlimited coffee/tea during your day. Please do not waste it!

13. You can leave luggage with the host during the check-out day, but please inform the host about what time to pick up. Kindly vacate the guest room no later than 11am, thus the room can be cleaned for the next arrival.

Extra storage after check-out day is 2 euro/day per small item (cabin luggage size) and 3 euro/day for large luggage (larger than cabin size), but if you are return guests within one month, extra storage are free.

14. Smoking: we maintain a non-smoking policy indoors. If you smoke, kindly go outside to the Front Garden or to the street and make sure you use an ashtray in the garden. Do NOT throw ashes and cigarette butts on the street or in Front Garden. If found smoking indoors, the penalty is 200 euro per time.  

15. there are CCTV cameras in the garden for security purposes. There are NO CCTV cameras in anywhere of house inside. The guests’ privacy is our concern.

16.  There are smoke detectors on each floor of the house, and if the alarm is on, please be alert and exit the house if needed (followed by the host’s instructions).

17.  Max one guest per guest room is allowed as required by our hosting permit obtained.

18.  Extra one guest will stay in an extra available guest room, to communicate to the host in advance to check availability and make payment in cash or through Airbnb payment request. The host will provide an invoice upon request. The rate will apply per your booking night rate or listed Airbnb rate online or 80 euro/night per peak season-Apr to Oct (60 euro/night per low season-Nov to Mar), which is lower and 20 euro cleaning cost per stay (fewer than 2 nights is 15 euro cleaning cost).

19. A guest’s extended stay is possible if we have a room available, the rate in #18 applies.
